Christmas Cheer
Christmas hasn't always been the best time of year for me. Had a few unforgettable ones and not in a good way. Breakups, family illnesses,severe panic attacks, depression and a break down. But this year I am super excited!
My dad was diagnosed with Cancer last Christmas and the prognosis wasn't good; they said 3-6 months. It was a huge shock to everyone in my family since my dad didn't seem ill up until right before then. Anyway, long story short, after nearly a year, he is still with us and going strong. This Christmas is all about family and celebrating life!!!!!
Last Christmas I thought it could be my dads last, now there is the prospect of another and maybe even more!
You never know what is around the corner, so make sure you enjoy every minute of your life. Also, don't take your family and close friends for granted. I know mine can drive me nuts, but one day they might not be around and there wont be anything I can do about it, so I am going to cherish every minute.
